San Francisco Giants Acquire Mike Tauchman for reliver Wandy Peralta and a PTBNL

ERIK.PNG

The San Francisco Giants have made their first notable trade of the season sending left-handed reliever Wandy Peralta to the New York Yankees for outfielder Mike Tauchman. Tauchman has struggled since his breakout 2019 season when he hit .277 with a .361 OBP and 13 bombs in 260 at bats. His presence is needed with the recent injury of Mike Yastrzemski as a lefty bat with some pop while providing solid defense in the outfield. This is not a great sign for Steven Duggar, a long time Giant who is still trying to make a name for himself at the big league level but is struggling to do so. The Giants also have plenty of other solid names in the outfield such as Darin Ruf, Alex Dickerson, Mauricio Dubon and Austin Slater.

Whether Tauchman will even be on this 26-man roster by September is unknown. It is certainly not a guarantee. However, at least as a temporary measure, this move should help the Giants while waiting for Yastrzemski to be at full health. As for the Yankees, a crowded outfield made this an easy decision. They will be picking up a solid left-hander who has had trouble with limiting runs in his career but can hit 95 MPH on the gun. In addition, another player to be named is also headed to the Yankees organization. All in all, this is a trade that makes sense on both sides, but Giants fans should hope Tauchman can bring some of that 2019 magic over to San Francisco and help the Giants continue this hot streak.

HOT San Francisco Giants vs. MIAMI MARLINS - Series Preview 4/16/21

ERIK.PNG

It's time for another series preview and this time the San Francisco Giants are headed east to take on the Miami Marlins. The Giants have been incredible so far in 2021, having won 3 out of the first 4 series including series victories against the San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds. The Giants are 8-4 this season, a .667 winning percentage. Unfortunately, before diving into the actual series, there is some bad news and that is that Johnny Cueto, who has been brilliant this season, has landed on the 10 Day Injured List with a lat strain. The Giants recalled right hander Camilo Doval and also put Lamonte Wade Jr on the IL with a left oblique strain and called up Steven Duggar. Alex Wood should be coming off the injured list for Sunday's game, so more roster moves are going to be happening.

Friday’s Lineups

Friday’s Lineups

Tonight's ballgame will feature Anthony DeSclafani, who has simply been dealing. He is 1-0 with a 0.82 ERA on the young 2021 season and will be taking on the team he made his debut with, the Miami Marlins, who are 5-7 this year but 1-5 at home. He'll be facing a lineup which has one name that has had success against him and that's Corey Dickerson, who is 4 for 13 with 2 home runs off Desclafani, and the only other hitter with significant experience is Starling Marte, who is 3 for 23 without an extra base hit.

Regardless of past experience, DeSclafani seems to be rolling right now and should be able to handle this lineup quite well. For the Marlins, it will be the lefty, Daniel Castano, who had a 3.03 ERA in 2020, starting 6 games out the 7 games he appeared in.

He was 19th round pick out of Baylor and will be making his 2021 debut. This is a 6'3" lefty with a fastball in the mid 90's and good stuff but making his debut, might be some butterflies and that's what the Giants will hope for; this guy generally has good control so don't expect a bunch of walks but he can be hittable and I'm looking for

the Giants to jump all over him, but when he's on, he can shut down a team as well. The Giants have no experience against him but I'm confident this team can string together some good hits and get on the board early. I got Desclafni continuing to roll and the Giants taking this one tonight; in other words, the edge for Game 1 definitely goes to the Giants.

Game 1 Edge: Giants

Probables for Saturday as of now look like Aaron Sanchez and the very good Sandy Alcantara. Sanchez has been very solid this year although he hasn't gotten a win yet. He gave up 2 runs in 5 against the Reds and has a 2.7 ERA so far this year. Only Corey Dickerson has double digit at bats against Sanchez and is 2 for 11 with 4 strikeouts. Sandy Alcantara has only started against the Giants a couple times so not a ton of experience against him either for San Francisco, but he really pitched well and generally seems to dominate the Giants, although Brandon

Belt is 3 for 5 with two doubles and should definitely be in the lineup against the right-hander. Both pitchers are 0-1 on the season and both seem deserving and ready to go out and get a win. Alcantara has thrown nothing but quality outings all season, however, and due to his success against the Giants in the past and the fact that I can see the Giants scoring a ton of runs tonight and maybe flatlining a little tomorrow, I am going to give the Marlins slight edge for this matchup.

Game 2 Edge: Marlins

The final game of the series should - as of now and this could change - feature Alex Wood making his San Francisco Giants debut. He has been looking good at the alternate camp throwing rehab games and gave up just 1 run in 3 Spring Training innings with 2 strikeouts. Unfortunately, we just haven't seen enough to really know what to expect on Sunday but this is a guy with 8 years of big league experience, a former All Star who knows how to pitch.

I expect he'll be able to handle this lineup pretty well and he has had success against some of these players like Starling Marte, who is 4 for 22 with zero home runs. Corey Dickerson is some one the Giants need to really be careful about all series long because he's also his Wood well, going 3 for 7 with a double.

The Marlins will go with Pablo Lopez, who has give up 3 home runs in his last 10 2/3rd innings. He pitched well against the Giants in 2019, giving up 1 run in 6+ innings, but hasn't faced them since. He was a bright spot for Miami last year but hasn't gotten off to the best start this year. The Giants need to not let this be his confidence-building start.

In reality, this game is the toughest to predict with Alex Wood, some one who hasn't really pitched great in a few years coming off the IL and making his debut this year and a young 25-year old very talented pitcher who has struggled with the long ball facing a team that has been crushing a lot of home runs this year. I can see it being a bullpen game and both teams have some solid relivers, but both bullpens - including the Giants as proven on Opening Day - can give up some runs.

I'm going to say Alex Wood has a nice debut for the Giants but Lopez also pitches well and this game ends up being decided late in the game where the Giants bullpen holds a small lead and the Giants take it. I'll give the Giants the series and the edge in Game 3.

Game 3 Edge: Giants

Two Early-Season Power-Teams CLASH - REDS (8-4) vs GIANTS (8-4) Series PREVIEW

ERIK.PNG

Two of the best teams in baseball record-wise are the San Francisco Giants and the Cincinnati Reds and they will clash at Oracle Park starting tonight.  The Giants have a stellar 3.04 ERA as a pitching staff after former Red Anthony DeSclafani threw 6 shutout innings in yesterday’s victory over Colorado.  Johnny Cueto found the fountain of youth and is also dominating while Kevin Gausman looks to be the Ace the Giants hoped he would be.  Meanwhile, although the offense has not been as strong as hoped, the Giants have been crushing home runs with 14 so far.  Only the Reds themselves have more at 16.

Game 1: Wade Miley (CIN) vs. Aaron Sanchez (SF)

Speaking of the Reds, their pitching has also been impressive with Wade Miley throwing 6 shutout innings in his last start and preparing to start tonight’s series opener in San Francisco.  He’ll face Aaron Sanchez, who threw five innings of one-run ball in his Giants debut against the Padres.  Only Nick Castellanos has had any significant experience against Sanchez and he is 3-for-15 in his career with no extra base hits and 4 strikeouts.  Against Wade Miley, on the other hand, several Giants have plenty of experience.  Buster Posey has some ownage and is 10-for-26 with a home run.  Evan Longoria has 3 homers in just 33 at bats while is 5-for-10 with a bomb against Miley.  Only Crawford has struggled against the lefty and is 4-for-21 but with just 2 strikeouts.

This should be a great matchup with two arms that looked solid in their season openers but two lineups that have been crushing home runs at a ridiculous pace.  Miley has the experience but Sanchez, a first round pick, is looking to finally break through as a legit big league starter.  I’ll give the Reds a slight edge in this first game.

Edge: Reds

Game 2: Luis Castillo (CIN) vs. Kevin Gausman (SF)

Game 2 will be a clash of two aces – Luis Castillo for the Reds against Kevin Gasuman for the Giants.  Castillo struggled mightily in his first start against St. Louis but recovered against Pittbsburgh, throwing seven shutout innings.  Kevin Gausman looked dominant in both of his starts and will look to pick up his first win of the year on Tuesday.  The Reds have had some success against Gausman, especially Joey Votto and Mike Moustakas.  However, Gausman currently looks as good as he has in his entire career.

As for the Giants against Castillo, no one has 10 at at bats against him and the guy with the most, Brandon Belt, is 0 for 9.  Posey and Flores are each hitting .333 with a homer against Castillo in limited opportunities.  The most likely scenario is a pitching duel where the first team to strike offensively will have the advantage.  Each team have some nice bullpen options but its not necessarily a strength for either team either.  This game and series should be absolutely thrilling.  I have full confidence that Gausman will be fantastic in this one and the Giants offense will finally give him the run support he deserves and the bullpen will finally not blow it for him.

Edge: Giants

Game 3: Tyler Mahle (CIN) vs. Johnny Cueto (CIN)

Game 3 will feature a former Red in Johnny Cueto who proved he can still be elite after an amazing performance against the Rockies.  Tyler Mahle, a California native, will start for the Reds and in 2 starts this season, he is 1-0 with 15 strikeouts in 9 innings and an ERA of 2.  In other words, this is also a game you might want to tune into.  Against Cueto, Mike Moustakas seems to have a level of comfort after going 4-for-8 against him with a homer and 2 doubles.  Nick Castellanos, on the other hand, is 1-for-11 with a single.  The hitter Mahle might want to be careful of is Brandon Belt, who has 2 home runs in 2 at bats against him.  Because Mahle has struggled somewhat with walks and getting deep into games as opposed to Cueto, who just pitched 8 2/3rds in his last start and looks to be on top of his game right now, I’ll take the Giants in this one as well.

Edge: Giants

NL WEST Showdown: San Francisco Giants vs San Diego Padres SERIES PREVIEW (4/5/2021-4/7/2021)

ERIK.PNG

It’s time to preview the first National West matchup for the Giants this season as they head to San Diego after a frustrating 3 game series in Seattle where the Giants came away with just one win in three games.  The most memorable loss was Opening Night when the Giants bullpen squandered a 5-run lead with less than two innings to go.  Trying to put that in the rear-view-mirror, the Giants now head to San Diego to face one of the most exciting teams in the game, the Padres, who just won 3 out of 4 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

One thing the Giants can be excited about coming into this series are their bats.  Although they were shut out in Game 3 of the Mariners series, nearly all of the Giants big bats showed up in the series including Buster Posey and Evan Longoria, who both homered twice and the amazing Donovan Solano, who is hitting .500 on the young season.  Alex Dickerson crushed a home run in his first at bat of the season and overall, the offense was solid.  As far as starting pitching, Kevin Gausman, who should make a start in this series, was dominant in Game 1 and certainly deserved the W.  He’ll try to get one against the Pads in Game 5.

Kevin Gausman

Kevin Gausman

Game 1

Game occurs tonight and will feature Anthony DeSclafani for San Francisco, making his first regular season start for the Giants.  He looked good in Spring Training, earning a 2.79 ERA in three starts, but all that is history now and he’ll look to bounce back after a tough 2020 with the Reds.  He’ll be facing Adrian Morejon, a fantastic looking young pitcher who struck out 17 hitters in 14 Spring Training innings with an ERA of 3.21.  With the lefty on the hill, we’re likely to see Darin Ruf or Austin Slater in there with Dickerson coming off the bench.  Posey should be back in the lineup as well after two nights off.

Last season against Morejon, the Giants were 5 for 17 with a home run and 7 strikeouts.  He didn’t walk a single Giant.  The home run was hit by  a guy who should be in the lineup tonight, Mauricio Dubon.  who is 2 for 2 in his career against Morejon.  The only other Giants who had some success against Morejon was Yastrzemski, who was 2 for 3 and Donovan Solano, who was 1 for 1.  Yaz is actually 3 for 4 in his career against Morejon.

As for Desclafani, with the exception of a home run by Tatis Jr., he dominated the Padres in April of 2019, throwing 6 strong innings with 6 strikeouts, allowing just 2 hits, one of them being that home run and the other a single by Machado.  In his career, Machado is 1-for-6 against DeSclafani.  Most of the lineup, in fact, have poor career stats against him such as Wil Myers, who is 1-for-11.

Based on the relatively small historical sample sizes, the Giants should feel good about their chances in Game 1.  With a lot of strong righties like Posey, Slater, Dubon and Solano in there and Yastrzemski, who has hit Morejon very well, there’s a good chance the Giants get on the board quickly.  If Desclafani pitches anything like he did against San Diego in 2019, well things might be similar to Game 1 of the Seattle series except hopefully this time, the bullpen can hang on.  I’ll say the Giants take Game 1 of the series by the final score of 7-4.

PREDICTION: GIANTS WIN 7-4

Game 2

In game 2, the Padres will throw out of their prized acquisitions this offseason and it’s Yu Darvish taking the hill against Aaron Sanchez.  Darvish has already made his Padres debut and he wasn’t great, pitching 4 2/3rds innings with 6 strikeouts and 4 runs allowed.  Against most of the Giants, he’s been pretty good but Alex Dickerson and Mike Yastrzemski are a combined 5 for 10 against him each with a home run.  Dickerson will definitely be in the lineup against the righty. Evan Longoria has the biggest sample against Darvish with 21 career at bats and just 4 hits for a .191 average although he went deep one time.  This is obviously going to be a tough game of the offense and I can see Darvish having a big bounceback game after the tough debut.

However, Aaron Sanchez has also had success against some of the Padres, such as Manny Machado, who has a career .171 average in 35 at bats against Sanchez.  However, most of their best young players like Tatis Jr, Grisham and Cronenworth will be facing Sanchez for the first time.  Sanchez wasn’t too great in Spring Training and I can definitely see the Padres making hard contact against him, but at the same time, he’s just 28 and as a former first round pick, obviously has good stuff and the potential to go out there and have a great game.  I’ll say the Giants do score a few runs off Darvish and the bullpen but that this time the Padres edge it out by a score of 5-4.

Fernando Tatis Jr.

Fernando Tatis Jr.

PREDICTION: PADRES WIN 5-4

Game 3

In one of the most exciting matchups of the series, the Giants will send out Kevin Gausman again, who as I mentioned looked fantastic in the Opening Night matchup against Seattle.  The Padres will have former Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell on the hill.  Snell, as a career Ray, will be facing most of these Giants for the first time although the only guy with more than 3 at bats against him, Wilmer Flores, is 3 for 5 with a double and could find his way into the Starting Lineup.  In his first start his year, he didn’t give up a run in 4 2/3rds.  He’ll look to go deeper than that on Wednesday.

Gausman has had limited success against most of the Padres lineup but most of the samples are very small.  Nevertheless, based on what we saw last Thursday, hopes are high for Gausman to follow-up with another dominant outing.  This could easily be a pitching duel and I’ll predict it goes that way, with the game staying tight until the late innings.  Unfortunately, the Padres will gain an edge when the game gets to the bullpen and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Giants are unable to hang on to any lead they main gain.  Unless Gausman can go at least 7+ innings deep, I’m giving the edge to the Padres in this one.  I’ll say they take it by a score of 4-2.

PREDICTION: PADRES WIN 4-2

So, that’s a look at the first National League West series for the Giants this year.  The Padres are clearly an up and coming team with a lot of strength and I feel that one win in this series, while obviously disappointing, wouldn’t be the end of the world.  Especially since the Giants seem to always play well against the rival Dodgers.  Their best chances at wins are in Games 1 and 3, and I think there is more than good chance they could take both of them, but I’m going to be honest in my prediction while staying hopeful.  Let’s go Giants!

Heliot Ramos Goes Deep TWICE! SF Giants Sign Jose Alvarez

ERIK.PNG

The San Francisco Giants are seven games into Spring Training and it’s time to look at some of the biggest contributors and players who have shined so far.  Before getting into that, the Giants have a new player for 2021 – Jose Alvarez, a 31 year old left handed reliever, has been signed to a Major League contract.  The deal is for one year at $1.15 million with a club option for a second year.  In the meantime, Jordan Humphreys was claimed on waivers from the Padres – he just keeps coming and going.

Jordan Humphreys

Jordan Humphreys

Jose Alvarez had a sparkling ERA of 1.42 in 2020 but the bad news is it was in only 6 1/3rd innings of work, making it not as impressive.  His season ended early by a line drive to the groin.  Over his career, he hasn’t had an ERA over 4 since his rookie season in 2013.  He’s got a low-90’s sinker that produces groundballs and a solid change to go with his fastball that showed more velocity in 2020 than any previous years.  This is a solid signing to fortify the Giants bullpen, which already has a few nice names like Tyler Rogers, Jake McGee, Jarlin Garcia and Sam Selman.

As far as Spring Training goes, the Giants just completed an 8-inning 9-4 win over the Reds featuring an opposite field big fly from Steven Duggar and not one but two bombs from young prospect Heliot Ramos, who could make his debut in 2021.  He was already 3 for 7 before this game and has just been barreling up everything.  If Ramos starts doing big things in Triple-A, who knows how early we could see him.  Giants have plenty of outfielders but with injuries and possible underperformance, Ramos could force his way into this lineup.  It’s only a few Spring Training games, but he has really impressed.

Jose Alvarez

Jose Alvarez

Our other top prospect, Joey Bart, has also torn it up so far in Spring Training, which he does pretty much every year.  Bart has torn it up on every level, except the big leagues last year.  He’ll get another shot at some point in 2021, but it’s nice to see him swinging the bat well.  The powerful Darin Ruf has gone deep already and been getting consistent hits.  In 2020, Ruf hit .276 with 5 bombs in 87 at bats for San Francisco.  Another guy who ha caught my eye has been Jason Vosler, who signed a Major League deal.  He is just squaring up everything and should make his big league debut this year, maybe even on Opening Day the way he’s swinging the bat, although the Giants have a lot of infielders so he might just be a 40-man roster guy in Triple-A.  Donovan Solano is hitting .333 as per his usual with a home run already.

As for the pitchers, Johnny Cueto looked awesome in his start, striking out 4 in 2 scoreless innings while Anthony DeSclafani looked sharp today against the Reds.  The rest of the rotation hasn’t really thrown many innings but no red flags so far.  Also shoutout to Luis Basabe for nice defensive plays and overall, I’m happy with what we’ve seen so far.  As more relivers rack up more innings, we’ll have a better idea of who is looking good and who’s looking bad there as well.  For now, the main guys I’m excited about are Vosler and of course, Heliot Ramos and Joey Bart, as expected.  Shoutout to Joe McCarthy as well for hitting the first Giants home run of the Spring Training 2021.  I know I gave him a hard time last year, but hey, he’s still here and went deep so you gotta give credit where credit is due.

SF Giants Sign Curt Casali - Target Tomoyuku Sugano!

ERIK.PNG

The San Francisco Giants have signed backup catcher Curt Casali who played for the Cincinnati Reds from 2018-2020 and has 37 career home runs in 831 at bats. He also accumulated 95 career walks and is an ideal backup catcher - he gets on base, provides some pop and is solid behind the plate. Casali will be the leading candidate to backup Buster Posey during the 2021 Season.

The Giants do have an array of excellent catchers including recent draft picks Joey Bart and Patrick Bailey. Bailey still has a lot of development to go through while Bart is likely to start the season in Triple A after an underwhelming rookie campaign in 2020. This leaves Posey, Casali and Chadwick Tromp, who was recently re-signed. Tromp, like Bart, has minor league options available and, therefore, is likely to begin the year in the minors as well.

This is an excellent signing by the Giants and Casali looks like a prime candidate to continue the Giants string of great backup catchers to Posey such as Nick Hundley and Stephen Vogt. Of course, Posey opted out of the 2020 season.

Meanwhile, the Giants are one of three teams that have shown interest in Japanese ace Tomoyuki Sugano, who had an outstanding 2020 going 14-2 with a 1.97 ERA and 131 strikeouts in just over 134 innings. He’s still only 31 years and and would be a huge asset to a team like the Giants who lack consistently effective starters in their rotation. The other two teams are the Blue Jays and Mets, although recent reports indicate that the Mets may be stepping out of the race.

San Francisco Giants Want MARCELL OZUNA.. But There's a Catch

ERIK.PNG

The San Francisco Giants are reportedly interested in former Braves slugger Marcell Ozuna! Unfortunately, while this would be an incredible upgrade to an offense that was surprisingly (at least to non Giants fans) awesome in 2020, this possibility comes with a catch. The Giants are only interested if the National League permanently adopts the Designated Hitter entering 2021. This news comes per Jon Morosi on twitter.

While the Giants could use an arm or two in that rotation, this move would bring the Giants much closer to being a realistic contender for a Wild Card in 2021 after finishing just under .500 in 2020. The outfield is already set with Mike Yastrzemski, Alex Dickerson, Mauricio Dubon, Austin Slater and others possibly returning such as Steven Duggar, Darin Ruf and Jaylin Davis. Additionally, Ozuna is not a good defensive outfielder. These are the reasons why the Giants would need the DH to be officially instituted in the National League before making such a signing.

I would personally be ecstatic to have Ozuna in San Francisco and, although I am not for the DH in the National League, I have accepted the DH is coming sooner or later. So, if it means getting Ozuna, well, I guess bring on the DH for 2021 because it’s coming by ‘22 or ‘23 at the latest anyway.

The 5 Changes the SF Giants Must Make to Make a Playoff Push in 2020

ERIK.PNG

You play the cards you’re dealt. If this was a typical 162-game season with a normal playoff bracket, I wouldn’t even dream of this San Francisco Giants team making the playoffs. It just wasn’t going to be a likely scenario. However, in a 60-game season with expanded playoffs, all of the sudden, every team can dream of October baseball. That includes the Orange & Black. However, after losing 5 of 6 games, the Giants need to make some definite changes if they are to make any kind of a push towards playoff baseball in 2020. Here are the five key changes that need to be made for the Giants to get into a playoff series in 2020.

#1 Joey Bart

Joey Bart needs to be promoted soon. Although Chadwick Tromp is 7 for 22 with 2 home runs which is actually close to what we'd expect from Bart, he's not playing every day and does not have the power or defensive abilities of Bart. In addition to Tromp, the Giants rotate in Tyler Heineman, who started out the season fairly hot but now is hitting .222 with no homers.

For sustained excellence, power, better defense and just to get our future starting catcher some big league reps while there's no minor league games, the Giants need Joey Bart in the lineup. Tromp has been great and maybe a perfect backup for Bart.

San Francisco Giants top prospect Joey Bart

#2 Clean Up The Defense

I'm not going to ever recommend benching a guy like Soloano, who's hitting damn near .500 and leads the league in batting average and sits near the top in RBI, but his defense has been questionable at best. The Giants may want to consider DHing him more often.

Other than that, the Giants simply need to keep their heads in the game and make the routine plays. The errors have been costly and allowing free runs is not a formula to get into playoff baseball, especially for a team that’s already not expected to make much noise this season.

#3 The Rotation

The Rotation has been, as expected, very unstable. Jeff Samardzija has practically been throwing batting practice and in 3 starts he has a 9.88 ERA. He was just placed on the injured list, however, and will likely not be seen again this year. Shaun Anderson is some one with experience starting and, although I like him in the bullpen, I would like to see the Giants try Anderson again in the rotation. With 9 K's in 6 innings this year, he has looked decent. Anderson is just one option. At the end of the day, the Giants brass need to figure something out in order to bring more stability to this rotation.

17493235_web1_Hunter-pence_1.jpg

#4 Tough Decisions Must Be Made

Hunter Pence is 1 for 29 with zero extra base hits and zero RBI. If he's not going to produce at all, I don't see how he can stay on this team. The Giants demoted Jaylin Davis and Steven Duggar, two young players who both have more to offer and could use the developement. Joey Rickard, who hit .280 for the Giants last season in 50 at bats, is in camp. Even highly touted prospect Heliot Ramos is eager to get his big league career going. Pence obviously has a longer leash than your average player would but 1 for 29 is not gonna cut it, and that goes for any other veterans who are not contributing. Tough decisions will have to be made.

#5 Gabe Kapler & The Bullpen

The bullpen has been somewhat of a bright spot this year. I'm impressed with the performances of Connor Menez, Caleb Bareger and Wandy Peralta. Trevor Got has stepped up as the closer. Tyler Rogers, besides one terrible inning where he was probably kept in too long, has been fantastic.

However, inconsistency has started to creep in and the bullpen hasn't been as sharp. Some of this can be contributed to the manager. Throwing in a guy like Andrew Triggs in a high leverage situation to make his 2020 debut did not go well. It feels like whenever the bullpen implodes, a questionable decision was made. It happened with Dany Jimenez, who has since been DFA’d, on Opening Day when he was asked to make his big league debut on Opening Day in a close game ad Dodger Stadium against the strongest lineup in baseball.

However, all in all, the bullpen has been good enough - and hopefully there's some arms still in Sacramento that can step up when The Giants need them. Dereck Rodriguez, Jarlin Garcia, and Melvin Adon are names that come to mind. I like this bullpen and if used efficiently and properly, I think it could be a huge strength for the San Francisco Giants. But this can only be possible if management uses the bullpen correctly.
